‘Tis the Season of Giving

A thoughtful gift this holiday season can show that you care. Finding the perfect plushie, exciting electronics, great games, or even suburb socks can be a labor of love. As the saying goes, it’s the thought that counts. So when the dust settles after Black Friday and you’ve found the best deals of Cyber Monday, keep the spirit of giving alive for Giving Tuesday.

Giving Tuesday is a celebration of generosity. It’s a day focused on doing good and making a difference in your community. With your help, we can have the most impactful Giving Tuesday yet.

On November 29, help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 to continue providing our free mental health education and proactive suicide prevention projects to the community.

There’s plenty of ways to make a difference this Giving Tuesday.

Here are some options as an individual:

  • Donate to our Facebook fundraiser

  • Share our fundraiser with your family and friends

  • Set-up a match for our fundraiser through Facebook

  • Start your own fundraiser through Facebook, Instagram, or Classy

  • Download + Post our #GivingTuesday graphics

  • Add a donate sticker to your Instagram story

Here are some examples to participate as a business or organization:

  • A restaurant or bar donating tips or a % of sales from the day

  • A tattoo artist creating a certain design and donating the funds from it, or a % of a days funds

  • An artist or maker donating a % of funds or the proceeds from a certain piece

  • An employer or business matching the donations received for a period or time of day

  • A fitness instructor hosting a zoom workout for donations donated

Feel free to get creative and give in the way that makes the most sense for you! Like mentioned earlier, it’s the thought that counts.

No matter how you choose to get involved, thank you for supporting proactive prevention. We are in this together.
